1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy defines the procedure for the collection, processing, use, storage and protection of the data of visitors to the website https://check-point.expert — the website of the CheckPoint service.

CheckPoint is a service for monitoring the quality of work at sites. The website is informational in nature: it describes the service and makes it possible to submit a connection request.

The CheckPoint mobile app is not described by this Policy: it has its own document, as stated in the “CheckPoint mobile app” section.

By submitting a request through the form on the website, the visitor confirms that they have read this Privacy Policy.

2. What data the website collects

The website consists of a single informational page and this Policy. The only data collection form on it is the request form in the “Contacts” section.

2.1. Request form data

The following data is processed through the request form:

  • the name provided by the visitor;
  • the phone number.

There are no other fields in the form. The website requests neither an email address, nor an organization name, nor a job title.

The visitor must not enter into the form information unrelated to the enquiry, including personal data of third parties.

2.2. Technical information about requests

When the website is accessed, the web server on which it is hosted may record in its logs:

  • the device network address;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the requested page address;
  • the type and version of the browser and operating system;
  • the address of the page from which the visitor navigated.

The logs are kept to the extent necessary to ensure the operability and security of the website and are not used for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. What the website does not do

The website does not use:

  • cookies;
  • web analytics systems and visitor counters;
  • advertising and tracking scripts;
  • social media pixels;
  • visitor profiling;
  • automated decision-making in respect of the visitor.

The website does not collect:

  • payment and banking data;
  • health information;
  • device location data;
  • photographs, documents and other files;
  • the content of correspondence;
  • information from social media.

All page resources — fonts, images, styles — are served from the same domain as the website itself. When the website is opened, no requests are made to the servers of third-party companies.

There is no registration, sign-in or personal account on the website.

4. Purposes of data processing

The data submitted through the request form is processed in order to:

  • contact the visitor regarding the enquiry submitted;
  • answer questions about the service;
  • discuss the terms for connecting CheckPoint;
  • arrange a demonstration or a trial run where necessary.

Technical information from the web server logs is processed in order to:

  • keep the website operational;
  • detect and eliminate failures;
  • protect the website from unauthorized access and automated attacks.

The data is not used to display personalized advertising, is not transferred to advertising organizations and is not sold.

6. Who has access to the data

Data submitted through the request form is available to authorized employees of Megacam LLP responsible for processing enquiries.

Apart from them, access to the data may be held by:

  • the server infrastructure provider that hosts the website — to the extent necessary to maintain that infrastructure;
  • government authorities — in the cases provided for by legislation.

The infrastructure provider receives access only to the data necessary for the provision of the service and has no right to use it for its own advertising or marketing purposes.

Data is not transferred to any other third parties and is not taken outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

7. Data storage and retention

Data is stored on the servers used by Megacam LLP to operate the website and to process enquiries.

Requests are stored until the processing of the enquiry is completed. If a contract is concluded following the enquiry, the retention period is determined by the contract and by the requirements of the legislation on document retention.

Web server logs are stored for a limited technical period and are then overwritten.

Data is stored no longer than is necessary for the purposes named in this Policy. Once that period expires, the data is deleted or anonymized.

Backups may be stored for a limited technical period after the data has been deleted from the main system.

8. Visitor rights and withdrawal of consent

The visitor has the right to:

  • find out whether their data is being processed and exactly what data;
  • demand rectification or correction of data;
  • demand blocking or deletion of data;
  • withdraw consent previously given.

In the enquiry it is recommended to state:

  • the name and phone number that were submitted through the form;
  • the substance of the demand.

The enquiry is considered within the period established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. After withdrawal, processing ceases and the data is deleted, unless its further storage is required by the legislation.

There is no personal account on the website, so it is not possible to delete data independently through the website — this is done upon enquiry.

9. Data protection

Organizational and technical measures are applied to protect information, including:

  • transmission of data over a secure connection using HTTPS and TLS;
  • limiting the range of employees who have access to enquiries;
  • access rights segregation;
  • protection of the server and network infrastructure;
  • backup;
  • timely software updates;
  • logging of access to production systems.

Despite the measures taken, no method of transmitting or storing information can guarantee absolute security.

10. Data of minors

The website is addressed to representatives of organizations and is not intended for children.

No targeted collection of personal data of persons under 18 is carried out. If it becomes known that a request has been submitted by a minor without proper legal grounds, such data will be deleted.

11. External services and links

The website does not connect any third-party services for its own operation: fonts, images and styles are served from its own domain, and there are no counters or widgets on its pages.

At the same time, the website contains links to external resources:

Following such a link takes the visitor outside the website. Data processing on external resources is governed by their own privacy policies, and this Policy does not apply to it.

By starting a conversation through a messenger, the visitor transfers their data not only to Megacam LLP, but also to the owner of the messenger, who processes it under their own rules.

12. CheckPoint mobile app

The CheckPoint service includes a mobile app for Android and iOS used by employees of customer organizations. The app receives and transmits data that the website does not collect: device location, photographs, information about the completion of assignments.

This Policy does not apply to the mobile app. Accounts in the app are created by the employer or the organization administrator; the app is not installed through the website, and accounts are not issued through it.

13. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Policy may be amended in the event of:

  • a change in the composition of the data collected by the website;
  • the appearance of new forms, sections or services on the website;
  • the connection of third-party services;
  • a change in the requirements of the legislation;
  • a change in the website hosting conditions.

The last updated date is indicated at the beginning of the document.

Continued use of the website after the publication of a new version of the Policy means that the visitor has familiarized themselves with the changes made, unless a different procedure is established by the legislation.
